Hi I’m Vickie, the owner and proprietor of Weddings By Vickie. I want to tell you a little about myself, so that you’ll know who I am and hopefully help you to see why I could help you with your most special day.

Throughout my professional and personal life I have been well known for my organisational abilities. I am experienced in managing people and events on a small and large scale, from small family parties to large outdoor events with over 1000 people attending. Being able to liaise with many different people, meeting deadlines, dealing with problems that occur are all skills needed when planning any kind of event. This is especially important when planning a wedding, and these are the key skills that I have developed over the years. I trained as a wedding planner with Wedding Ideas Magazine’s Wedding Planner of the year 2006 on a UK Alliance of Wedding Planners course. Through this training and my extensive research, I am able to offer ideas and advice and help to make sure your special day goes as planned.

Of course when friends and family learn that you can manage all of this and still remain calm, you are the first person they call on when they are planning a wedding! They often don't know where to begin. They want to know how to keep track of the arrangements, how to manage a budget and seek advice on the other 101 things that couples have to think about as their big day approaches. Many people have very busy lives now and simply don’t have the time to devote to make their weddings the perfect day that it should be. After helping with a number of weddings, I realised that there must be many couples with the same worries and constraints and so Weddings By Vickie was formed.

Weddings By Vickie aims to give you that flawless wedding day that modern life makes so difficult to achieve. As a former Executive level P.A., a charity volunteer and a mother of two you can rest assured that I will give you the very best that I have to offer. Most importantly of all, I understand the importance of coordinating down to the finest details. After all, the finishing touches are the parts that create those magic memories.
